Rule34 Game Twitch Integration

Turn Higher or Lower into a crowd game. Rule34Game connects to your Twitch chat so viewers vote on every round while you play — live vote splits on the cards, a persistent chat leaderboard, and zero moderation overhead. No other rule34 game has this, and setup genuinely takes under a minute.

Setup in Under a Minute

  1. 1

    Open the game

Head to the Rule34Game homepage on the machine you stream from and start an Endless run. Everything happens in the browser — there is nothing to download or install.

  2. 2

    Connect your channel

Find the Twitch Integration panel next to the game, type your channel name, and hit Connect. The connection is read-only and anonymous: no OAuth prompt, no account linking, no bot to mod. When the status dot turns green, chat is live.

  3. 3

    Let chat vote

Each round, viewers type 1 if they think the left character has more posts or 2 for the right. Vote counts appear on the cards in real time, and once you lock in your own guess, everyone who voted correctly earns a point on the chat leaderboard.

Why Streamers Run It

Higher or Lower formats are perfect stream content because every round is a debate. Your chat argues, votes, and then gets instantly proven right or wrong by a number nobody can dispute — and with the leaderboard tracking correct votes across rounds, regulars have a reason to stick around and defend their rank. Since the game shows only official SFW artwork, it is safe to put on screen; the jokes come from the numbers, not from images.

Pair it with the Daily Challenge for a quick recurring segment: ten fixed rounds, your chat votes on each, and you can compare scorecards with other streamers running the same rounds that day.

Troubleshooting

The status dot never turns green

Double-check the channel name spelling (no # needed) and make sure your channel is live or has chat enabled for offline viewers. The game reconnects automatically if Twitch drops the connection.

Votes aren't showing up

Votes only count while a round is open — messages sent during the reveal animation are ignored, and only exact "1" or "2" messages register. Each viewer can change their vote until you lock in your guess.

Where is the leaderboard stored?

Locally in your browser — nothing is uploaded anywhere. You can reset it between streams with the Reset leaderboard button, or keep it running for a season-long competition.
